Logistics
At the conference
Meals: Breakfast and lunch will be served each day of the conference. A conference dinner will be held on Wednesday evening, and a reception on Thursday evening. Beyond the conference events, there are many good restaurants throughout the Minneapolis area.
Personal belongings: Please don't leave personal belongings unattended. Items left behind may not be present when you return.
Restrooms: Restrooms are located across from the elevators on the first floor of Hanson Hall.
Please wear your nametag! Your nametag allows you to be identified by staff as a participant of the conference. This is particularly important at the dinner and for the staff who will be giving out lunches.
Getting around
Uber and Lyft: Both rideshare services are widely available throughout the Twin Cities.
Minneapolis–St. Paul Light Rail: The Light Rail offers easy access to and from the airport, hotel, and the University of Minnesota. The standard adult fare is $2.00. More information is available at www.metrotransit.org/fares.
Wi-Fi access
The University of Minnesota provides eduroam. If your home institution participates, log in with your home institution credentials.
A UofM-Guest network is also available — see it.umn.edu/services-technologies/how-tos/wifi-guest-access for details.
